Meet Stephen

Stephen Burry has spent his career serving Albertans—in business, in politics and in his community.

A lifelong conservative, Stephen helped bring conservatives together during the historic Wildrose and Progressive Conservative unity movement and has served in senior leadership roles within Alberta's conservative movement, including as President of both the Sherwood Park Wildrose and Sherwood Park United Conservative constituency associations. He has also served as Chief of Staff to an Alberta MLA, gaining firsthand experience working within the Legislature and advocating for Albertans.

Outside politics, Stephen understands the realities facing Alberta families because he has lived them. As the owner of a small business, he knows what it means to meet payroll, manage rising costs and navigate government regulations while creating jobs and opportunities.

Stephen also brings nearly a decade of experience working in immigration consulting, helping families and businesses navigate Canada's immigration system. That experience has given him a unique understanding of both the opportunities immigration creates and the importance of ensuring it is managed responsibly in Alberta's best interests.

Stephen and his wife are raising their daughter in the riding and are active members of their local church. Their family believes in service, personal responsibility and giving back to the community they call home.

For Stephen, politics has never been about titles—it's about serving people.

He believes Alberta succeeds when families are strong, businesses can grow, government lives within its means and communities remain safe, welcoming and full of opportunity.

That is the future he wants to help build for Calgary-South East.
